Protecting You from Impersonation Scams

At times, we receive reports of individuals calling customers while claiming to represent ACCESSbank. In some cases, the caller ID displayed our main phone number. The caller referenced a fraudulent ACH transaction, provided a case number, and offered to send a secure link via text to complete an affidavit.

These calls are fraudulent.

Stay alert to scams. If you receive a call or text asking for your PIN, Social Security number, online banking password, access code, or full account details, it is a scam. ACCESSbank will never ask you to share personal information like that over the phone or through text.

Legitimate fraud alerts from ACCESSbank come from a short code text number, not a standard 10-digit phone number. Caller ID can be spoofed, even if it appears to be our number.

If you ever receive a suspicious call or message:

  • Do not click any links

  • Do not provide personal or account information

  • Hang up immediately

  • Call us directly at 402.763.6000 using a trusted number
