ACCESSbank's Dakota Postlewait Selected for Leadership Sarpy Class of 2026-2027.
July 1, 2026 | Omaha, NE - ACCESSbank is pleased to announce that Dakota Postlewait, Retail Area Manager for our La Vista and Aksarben locations, has been selected for the Leadership Sarpy Class of 2026–2027 through the Sarpy County Chamber of Commerce.
A lifelong Sarpy County resident, Dakota brings a strong personal connection to the community he serves. He was raised in Old Town Bellevue and is a graduate of Bellevue East High School. Today, he oversees ACCESSbank’s branch teams in the area, supporting individuals, families, and businesses in reaching their financial goals while building lasting relationships.
Leadership Sarpy is designed to develop both emerging and established leaders through hands-on experiences focused on economic development, government, nonprofit engagement, and regional growth. Participants gain insight into the issues shaping Sarpy County while forming meaningful connections with other community leaders.
For Dakota, the program is an opportunity to continue growing as a leader while deepening his understanding of the community he has always called home.
“I hope to come away with new perspectives, stronger relationships, and a better understanding of how I can support the continued growth of our community,” said Postlewait.
His commitment to Sarpy County is rooted in both personal experience and professional work. Having seen the area evolve over time, Dakota recognizes the importance of thoughtful leadership, community involvement, and long-term planning.
“Growing up in Old Town Bellevue, I’ve seen firsthand how much the area has changed,” he said. “Being intentional about that growth will be key to honoring its history while preparing for the future.”
At ACCESSbank, we believe strong communities are built by people who are actively engaged and willing to invest their time and energy. We are proud to support Dakota as he participates in Leadership Sarpy and look forward to the contributions he will continue to make across Sarpy County and the Omaha metro.
