Strike Out Hunger
This June, ACCESSbank employees took part in Food Bank for the Heartland's annual 'Strike Out Hunger' campaign. 21 employees volunteered their time at the Food Bank packing hundreds of pounds of food to help feed those hungry in our area.
Cancer affects all us and ACCESSbank is taking a stand against it. We sponsored the WE CAN Cure-a-Thon and matched donations up to $5,000. 100% of the proceeds will go to cancer research and patient assistance at the new Fred & Pamela Buffett Cancer Center which opens in the spring of 2017. The Kindness Revolution
Here at ACCESSbank, we're all about helping our community and paying it forward. This month, we were recognized by the Kindness Revolution as "Kind Company of the Month." We are honored to receive this award!
Omaha Street School
We loved serving lunch to students at Omaha Street School. This is a faith-based alternative high school that puts at-risk youth on the path to success. We had a great time meeting the students and hope to do it again soon!
Habitat for Humanity ReStore
Several team members spent part of their weekend moving tables and chairs at Oakview Mall to help stock the Habitat for Humanity ReStore. It looks like they had some fun between all their hard work!

Nine members of our team recently spent their day remodeling a home with Habitat for Humanity. It was a fun team-building day and a great way to give back to the Omaha Community. We can't wait to see the finished product..Great job team!
24 Hours of Impact
The first '24 Hours of Impact' event kicked off on July 24th and members of ACCESSbank were excited to join in. Employees spent the day volunteering at Omaha Street School to help the staff clean the classrooms in preparation for the new school year. We had a great time giving back and we look forward to seeing this event grow.
Summer School Savings Program
ACCESSbank headed back to school this summer to teach Papillion-La Vista students from kindergarten to fifth grade how to save money. We had a blast hanging out with the kids and we hope they learned a few saving lessons!
College Possible - Possibilities Challenge
Members of the ACCESSbank team headed back to college this spring to participate in the 2nd Annual Possibilities Challenge from College Possible. ACCESSbank was proud to sponsor this event and we helped raise close to $10,000 for a great organization.
Salvation Army: Red Kettle Collection
We prepared for the holiday season by partnering with Salvation Army for their annual Red Kettle Campaign. Members of ACCESSbank volunteered throughout the months of November and December to help count money collected for a great cause!
2014 Integrity Awards Luncheon
ACCESSbank received the Bronze Award of Merit from the Better Business Bureau at the 19th Annual Integrity Awards Luncheon. The winners were selected by a panel of independent judges. They selected the winners to represent "what is best about business in metro Omaha" and to recognize companies that serve customers "with the highest standard of ethics." ACCESSbank is honored to receive this award.
Coats for Floats Drive
Preparing for winter in August? The ACCESSbank team did just that when we partnered with Spirit Catholic Radio and Society of St. Vincent DePaul to collect winter coats for those in the Omaha metro area. Our team did a great job cleaning out their closets for our neighbors in need.
Fit 4 Life Challenge
The ACCESSbank team showed their competitive side at the 2014 Fit 4 Life Challenge. We joined kids and adults of all ages to play basketball, ping pong, and kickball; all to promote living a healthy lifestyle.
Midtown Relay for Life
Relay for Life is an event that is close to our hearts. Our team had a great time getting involved with the Midtown Relay for life event this summer. We raised $1,000 dollars for the American Cancer Society.
Heart Ministry Center Clothing Drive
ACCESSbank employees donated over 75 professional items of clothing to the Heart Ministry Center's Career Advancement Program to help the less fortunate get a jump start on their career path!
