Step 1:  Open Your New Accounts

Call or stop by and visit with one of our exceptional Retail Bankers.  They will help you decide which account and services are the best for you and your banking needs.  All documents requiring your signature will be prepared and ready for you to sign.

Now you just need to start using your account!

Step 2:  Transfer All Your Automatic Transactions

Use our direct deposit and automatic withdrawal forms to make a list of the transactions that you need to transfer over to your account.

 At your request, we will complete your transferring over of automatic transactions to your new account based on the information provided in the forms.  You may also fill out the online bill payments form and we can add your current bill pay vendors to your new online bill pay.

Step 3:  Close Old Account

Confirm that all outstanding items have cleared your old account and all direct deposits and automatic withdrawals have been transferred over to your new account.  Write a check for the remaining balance and deposit it into your account.  Notify your old bank in person or by phone to close your account.  Then destroy debit/ATM cards, checks, and any other important information pertaining to your old checking account.  would be glad to help shred all old information for you.
